Release and Indemnity: I acknowledge that I have agreed to volunteer my time and services in the 2025 GMS Queen City Marathon (“QCM”), and further acknowledge that I am physically fit and able to participate as a volunteer. I further acknowledge that I am solely responsible for my own safety and will take all necessary and reasonable steps to ensure not only my safety but that of fellow volunteers and QCM participants. I am aware that my involvement with the QCM as a volunteer could result in death, injury, lose or damage to my person or property and freely assure emergency care in the event of my illness or injury and waive all privacy requirements as they relate to the use of my recent photograph by the QCM in connection with the event. Finally, this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, or any of them. I agree that this release shall save harmless and indemnity Queen City Marathon Inc., its corporate sponsors, cooperating organizations, the race participants, QCM employees, directors, officers, volunteers (collectively referred to as “the releasees”) from all claims, demands, actions, costs and expenses arising from volunteering in this event, not withstanding that this loss may have contributed to in whole or in part by any or all of the releasees
